Our story

We make energy snacks that feel good in your body and good in the world.

I Am Grounded is an Australian functional snack brand built around one powerful ingredient: upcycled coffee fruit (the fruit around the coffee bean). It’s naturally caffeinated, antioxidant-rich, and usually goes to waste. We turn it into delicious, soft, wholefood-style bars that help you show up for whatever your day throws at you.

We started I Am Grounded because we wanted a better kind of energy. Something you can actually eat every day. No jittery buzz, no sugar crash, no weird aftertaste.

Our products were born from the endurance sport community, where good fuel is everything. Training, work, parenting, long days on your feet. Real life needs real energy.

What we make

We make SUPR Bars: soft, wholefood-style snack bars with natural caffeine from coffee fruit. Depending on the bar, you'll get 20mg, 40mg, or 60mg of caffeine—plus fibre, antioxidants, and real ingredients.

Why coffee fruit?

Coffee beans are only part of the coffee harvest. The fruit around them is packed with goodness, but it’s often discarded.

We use coffee fruit because it’s:

  • Natural caffeine, not synthetic stimulants
  • Antioxidant-rich (hello, polyphenols)
  • A smarter way to create energy while reducing food waste

It’s one of the most underrated ingredients in modern nutrition, and we’re here to change that.

Our mission

Turn waste into value. Fuel people better. Support coffee farmers. Since 2018, we've worked with micro-lot coffee farms in Colombia to source our coffee fruit, creating additional income for farmers.
